On October 16th, Madison West High School teacher, Marlon Anderson was fired after a student called him discriminatory terms. Quote, "Short story.... I get called a bit@# @ss Ni€€A by a student, I responded do "'not call me ni€€a!'" And I got fired. MMSD I, unfortunately, expected better". Not only is this socially unjust, it's just flat out racist. 2018, in Hamilton Middle School (Under the same district as West; MMSD) a dispute sparked between a Caucasian teacher and an African American 6th grader. The teacher told the 6th grade child "Well, How would you like it if I called you a ni**a?". The teacher was never fired, only temporarily removed from school grounds to avoid police officials interrogation. Now, an African American teacher has to deal with a student using a slur on him and responds with "Do not call me ni**ga" and gets fired? He's standing up for himself first of all. Half of these officials in office probably don't even know the first thing about the origination of the word and are just pushing a social agenda to seem somewhat socially acceptable by the masses. #FuckMMSD. #RehireMarlon
