On the first pitch of the 8/15/2018 game of the Marlins @ Braves, the pitcher, Jose Urena, beamed Ronald Acuna in the forearm. To understand why Urena committed this, obviously, intentional act we have to look at the record which was on the line when Acuna stepped into the box. Acuna had hit 8 home runs in the last 5 games, 3 of which were on the first pitch of the game. The only other players to do this were of Willie Mays skill level. If Acuna hit one out on the first pitch of Wednesday's game then he would become the youngest player to ever do this in history. Of course, Urena goes and squashes all of this young players dream by purposely plunking in him a spot in the arm which is likely to be severely injured now. Urena showed no remorse for what he did and even used his glove to beckon the Braves bench to clear after he hit Acuna. This kind of sportsmanship has no place in the MLB and should be punished severely. This is why he should be suspended for the rest of the season.  We need to end this horrific sportsmanship in baseball at all levels.
