It's time: Pete Rose has suffered in exile long enough.

Rose is one of the greatest hitters baseball ever saw, and he didn't need a performance enhancer to become that.

He made his mistakes off-the-field. He owned up to them. He's paid for them. But what he did on the field can't be undone by any bet, double down or wager.

Let the Hit King back into the MLB. Let his achievements be celebrated. Let him go into the history books. Let the honors he deserves be bestowed upon him. Let him at least get a chance to be in Cooperstown's coveted halls, just the same as any admitted steroid user has.
