Jeffrey Loria, now unquestionably the worst owner in professional sports, swindled the people of Miami, the city he's supposed to be uplifting. He has shown no interest in fielding a quality product, and instead consistently operates the Marlins among the lowest payrolls in baseball. It's time MLB halts the vicious cycle of growing elite talent only to ship it off for a batch of unproven prospects because they are more affordable. He's done it with Miguel Cabrera, one of the most dynamic hitters of his generation and he's going to do it again with Giancarlo Stanton, the most exciting slugger in all of baseball. 

End the cycle of filth that has become Marlins baseball.

In contrast, Micky Arison has built a loyal and successful organization with the Miami Heat, winner of three championships in the last nine years. The city of Miami and surrounding South Florida deserve another franchise they can be proud of -- like the Heat -- and it all starts with putting an end to the vile clown paying (or not paying) the bills.

Rob Manfred wants to make a splash in Year 1 of his tenure as MLB Commish? Do Miami a service and slice off the fat from the sport Miamians love, but would be foolish to support in its current state.

Send Loria packing. Bring in Arison.
