The Issue

On Sunday October 27th, three young ladies, namely Julia Rose, Lauren Summer, and Kayla Laurens, were banned from all MLB events on the basis of “exposing themselves” at Game 5 of the 2019 World Series. The ban came from the MLB Vice President for Security and Ballpark Operations.

The 3 girls are members of “Shagmag”, a modeling brand that also promotes social justice for women. The group made a mission to commit this brave act, revealing that men have long been able to attend sporting events shirtless with no repercussion, yet a flash by a  women leads to an indefinite ban, and thus bringing to light the sexist nature of professional sports.

Sign this petition to stand in solidarity with Julia, Lauren, and Kayla in the fight against sexism and to support equality for women!
