We are the AP Politics class at Affton High School. Our current project is to change this discriminatory legislation, the “Pink Tax”, in our state. The pink tax refers to the extra amount women are charged for certain products or services, specifically feminine hygiene products. By lowering this tax to an average sales tax, citizens of Missouri who use menstrual products are not discriminated against.
