79 year old blind man sentenced to 10 years prison for marijuana farm

The Issue

Charles F. White, 79, was sentenced in 2017 to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to manufacturing more than 1,000 marijuana plants at his home in rural Polk County.

I care about this because our justice system is flawed. Instead if being with family in the few years he has left he's stuck in prison for a plant that is no harm to humanity that actually cures cancer along with many other sicknesses an illnesses. It is now legal but since he got sentenced before the law passed to lessen sentences of those who caught marijuana cases he can't get out sooner. This man has not hurt anyone while child molesters walk free a 79 year old half blind man will spend probably what's left of his life in prison. We cant fix the world but we can start by fixing the justice system. He's no threat to society so set him free!!
