I support Missouri’s lawmakers as they protect the Second Amendment

The Issue

As an honest, law-abiding American I would like you to know that I vehemently support the State of Missouri and Senator Eric Burlison regarding Senate Bill No. 367, more commonly and accurately known as the “Second Amendment Preservation Act”.

The United States Constitution does not give Americans rights nor does it give the federal government authority over the American people. Rather it recognizes Americans’ inalienable rights and puts restrictions on the federal government. I am encouraged by the Senate in the State of Missouri for taking this necessary step with Senate Bill No. 367 to nullify unconstitutional infringements on the people of Missouri with overreaching gun laws by the federal government where they possess no jurisdiction to implement nor enforce said infringing laws.

I am personally doing my part to encourage the members of my own state to follow these brave steps by Mr. Burlison and other members of the Missouri State Senate in righting the unconstitutional wrongs perpetrated by the United States government onto the law-abiding citizens of the great state of Missouri.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The words “shall not be infringed” apply to an overreaching United States government, too. The Tenth Amendment recognizes states’ rights to point out and nullify infringements and anti-gun laws by the federal government unconstitutionally forced upon citizens of all fifty U.S. states.

Respectfully yours,
