In 2001 voters voted to not change the mississippi flag.  Why do the opinions of the voters not matter anymore? Right now house and senate legislatures are trying to take the mississippi flag from mississipians and replace it with a new design that voters are not being allowed to vote on. Do we not have a voice anymore? This effects more than just present day mississippians. This effects mississippians future as well. If we allow our voice to be taken then we stand a good chance of not getting it back. Sign this petition if you agree with everything above and the following. 

1. We the people still have a voice and we will be heard.

2. If the legislatures won't let we the people vote on OUR flag then by signing this petition we demand that all Mississippi legislatures vote NO on changing the flag.

3. If the flag must be changed it should be done so by the majority of the voters in mississippi by putting it on the ballot. Let us vote.

4. Let it be clear signing this petition I a no vote by WE THE PEOPLE for replacing or changing the Mississippi state flag.
