The cruelty to animals has gone on for far too long!!!  The heartless sadistic people committing these horrible acts most of the time get a slap on the wrist if that.  This is unacceptable.  Every day I see and hear stories of animals being starved, having acid poured onto their bodies, being shot stabbed and bludgeoned to death along with all kinds of other heinous acts.  Not 2 days ago I helped rescue a young dog many 6-8 months old that had been tied to a tree deep in the woods and left to die of exposure and or starvation.   Today we noticed that he just isn't eating right and realized that after all his suffering he also had experienced his teeth being ripped out.  THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!!  The deranged people committing these heinous acts need to be held accountable for their actions.   Heavy fines, forfeiture of any and all animals, jail time even prison time.  These are the things that we need.  Personally I would love to see animal cruelty made a felony in the state of Mississippi.   It's time that Mississippi catches up with the times.  Everyone is always asking "when is the world going to get better"  the answer is simple when we can learn to treat animals with dignity and respect we will then be able to start treating people with dignity and respect, thing will start getting better.   I ask you all please join me in this fight to give a voice to those who cant speak for themselves because          THE CYCLE STOP NOW!!!!!
