Missing Pedestrian Crosswalk at Public Park Entrance in New York City!

Missing Pedestrian Crosswalk at Public Park Entrance in New York City!
The Issue
Missing Pedestrian Crosswalks at New York City Public Park Entrances.
This petition is for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the Department of Transportation, and the New York City Council, and its representative members to act immediately and have a crosswalk installed at the intersection of Riverside Drive and West 165th Street, which is also known as 1010 Riverside Drive in New York, NY. 10032.
The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and the New York City Department of Transportation have neglected their duties to make public parks accessible to all residents and visitors by failing to equip New York City parks with the proper pedestrian infrastructure to facilitate secure and safe access to all publicly owned parkland in New York City regardless of disability.
The picture of the area inserted above is a screenshot taken from Google Maps and it shows an aerial view of the area in question. This is the entrance to Ft. Washington Park in Washington Heights in New York City, a very congested location where dozens of dog owners and park visitors meet on a daily basis. The picture clearly shows the lack of pedestrian infrastructure experienced in this park entrance alone; here all crosswalks are missing from this dangerous street crossing, and the screenshot even shows an automobile making an illegal U-turn right in front of the park entrance.
There is no safe way to enter this park without risking your life as the traffic does not stop due to the detrimental status of this street crossing and the missing pedestrian infrastructure.
