Since IMG has taken over the Miss Universe Organization in 2016, the Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Universe pageants are no longer the same. The pageant format has gone from having a Top 5 to a Top 3! The girls are also no longer given their own moment on stage. At this year's Miss USA we saw only saw a Top 10, giving less girls the chance at the crown during the final competition. Also, we no longer see the same exposure for the titleholders that you saw during the 1990s and 2000s. Another thing that has been concerning to fans is the fact that for the last two years the location and date for the Miss USA competition has been released ONE month before the date of finals night. How is that fair to the state contestants and their families that they are left scrambling last minute booking hotel accomodations and flights just so they can support their daughter, sister or friend? Fans would like to see the Miss Universe Organization return to how it used to be! Fans are unhappy with the direction the pageants are going and we would like to see change. Please give us the pageant telecast we used to love back, announce the date and location of the pageants more than one month in advance and give more exposure to the titleholders that win!
