Recently, Samantha Katie James aka Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 wrote a post saying that black people chose to be born "colored" in America "to learn a certain lesson" and that we should "relax and take it as a challenge."Given the events that are taking place her behavior is unacceptable, inexcusable, and should not be taken lightly. As a person with her platform her words are extremely harmful. She said since she doesn't live in America, this has nothing to do with her but this stretches far beyond America and way before now. She used her platform to say that black people chose to be born into a life where they are judged and murdered for the color of their skin and that because we are angry that the "whites" have won. This petition is to have her Miss Universe title and crown removed.
