I wanted to give you an update. Desi- my son is doing great, no change!
With regards to minors counsel, the California State Bar is continuing their investigation, I have received confirmation they are investigating and reviewing all the items I have sent over. I believe Ms Bennett is being asked to provide information and defend herself, although I am not 100% sure of the process.
I wanted to let you know that the Court has ignored the Objection that my sons father filed. If he wants to go back to court, he has to file a new case, he has already stated in writing, he plans to do this, he has solicited support from Ms. Bennett.
However, this is the first time in 8 years, she has not responded to his solicitations. Very interesting.
I continue to work with CFLNT, in a limited supportive capacity and as a fellow court watcher.
There have been several other incidents recently reported in regards to Minors Counsels, which demonstrate that these individuals are functioning with unlimited authority, without proper supervision, or training, creating tremendous harms.
I hope the California State Bar takes her conduct very seriously, I continue to send them updated communications for their review.
However, I remain realistic, Law Officers struggle holding each other accountable, that is why this Petition exists and will remain up. Thank you for being here. Sincerely, Rita.
