In recent past many people have lost their lives in fatal bus accidents in Himachal Pradesh.

I am a resident of Kullu,a beautiful valley ,and another bus accident has occured today killing many.

I have observed that the bus drivers here drive very carelessly and rush to pick up passengers hence speeding their way through narrow hilly roads with very less attention towards safety of passengers and other commuters on the road.

Their are no records of the maintenance of the buses.

Buses are more or less overloaded all the times .

There are no safety features available in any of the busses.No seat belts for passengers.

Very few drivers go through proper training to drive big buses in hilly roads.

Proper replacement of defected parts is not done ,they continue operating with make shift arrangements.

I request the authorities to keep strict checks so that the buses are operated safely and draw strict guidelines to improve the safety standard of the buses of our developing country .
