GRATUITY 20 LACS FROM 01/01/2016 FOR ALL.

Greetings. Now we are crossing a milestone 25K. It means 25000 join together and seek JUSTICE and EQUALITY from GOVERNMENT. Do we have a RIGHT to DEMAND?? Yes We are the one who are discriminated!!! We are Honest Tax Payers and in Service Sector. The petition is not against anybody. It is a voice in Unity seeking justice. We raise our hands to make our concern known to Representative Unions and the Government to address the discrimination meted out to us. Some leaders opine it is always given prospective effect and act can not be amended back date. But this time the amendment EMPOWERS THE GOVERNMENT TO NOTIFY (1) "such amount as may be notified by the Central Government from time to time". (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint" The date appointed need not be a date on which notification issued and APPOINTED DATE CAN BE BACK DATED ALSO say 01/01/2016 to treat everyone AT PAR in this issue. I honestly feel the Amendment of the ACT DOES NOT BAR THE GOVERNMENT TO NOTIFY THE APPOINTED DATE AS 01/01/2016. And I feel this point is to be raised with the Government and if any Union/Association take this to court they should submit this point. I feel, When EQUALITY is JUST and RIGHT our fight is in the right direction and legally tenable. I appeal to each and every one to explore resources which is favourable to our cause and post/ share with the discriminated fraternity. Please seek clarifications from legal experts you know, trade unionist to whom you are affiliated. This mission is not finding fault with anyone and not against any one. It is an awareness campaign and to make Government understand our grievance and an appeal to Unions/Association to not leave the issue as it is as it has been demanded by them right from the beginning for effective date 01/01/2016.
