We need to stand up, be vocal and take action. The recent appointment of Katrina Hanse-Himwara as confirmed by the Namibian on Friday 21 January 2020 to the parliamentary committee on constitutional and legal affairs, is not only a slap in the face to the Nation, but it is clear indication that the ruling party (SWAPO) has no intention of distancing itself from corrupt, convicted individuals, who believe they remain honourable enough to run for public office. 

The power now lies with us, the people, to take all legal remedies at our disposal and institute a petition, which will express our outrage in numbers and challenge the National Assembly to intervene in the matter.
