This petition is for all animals who are victims of cruelty, the most recent being the dog that was beaten and hung from a fence in South Auckland.

Enough! It is time for good New Zealanders to stand united and speak for those that have no voice; for those who have suffered at the hands of individuals who have no regard for the pain and suffering of animals and who inflict horrendous acts of violence and neglect upon innocent animals.

Please join me in standing for those who cannot affect change themselves. Please  stand for changes in the penalties for those who are violent, cruel and negligent to all animals.

We call on those with the power to change punishments for crimes against animals to align the retribution for those crimes to the equivalent for an equal crime against a human.

We /recognize the rights for all animals to a peaceful, caring, no-violent life and as such call for change in legislation relating to physical and emotional cruelty to animals.
