Conducting NEET-UG and JEE-MAINS in July will be the worst decision by the Government. It's insane. It's like playing with fire when we ought to douse it with full force. The students should fight against this stupidity with tooth n nail, not a single student will risk his life for an entrance exam keeping own safety at risk. Sign this petition.
Seeing the current hike in the Corona cases of the country, the situation will be worse by the end of June and July. The current situation of COVID-19 is vulnerable and we are getting thousands of new cases.
If we see the number of the COVID-19 cases in India on May 3, it was around 40,000 and as per now, it has hiked up to around 2.5 lakhs cases across the country. Due to this Unlock 1.0, we might see a huge hike in the Corona cases in India. According to the AIIMS Director, Randeep Guleria, in India Corona cases might see its peak in June or July
Recently Ministry of HRD has announced the postponement of the NCHMCT exam (hotel management entrance exam) conducted by NTA. The total number of candidates applied for the NCHMCT Exam is nearly about 35,000 (As Per Google search Engine Records ). if NCHMCT (35,000 students exam ) can be postponed due to this COVID-19 epidemic then how can we conduct the huge gathering of 25 lakhs students ( NEET-UG +JEE-MAINS ) in this epidemic. we should wait until the situation gets under control. Schools/colleges are also been instructed to be opened after the 15th of august.
If the situation worsens, candidates do not want the authority to prioritize exams over the health of the aspirants. Social media like Twitter, Facebook people on NEET postponement and describing what they want. Like Twitteratis have demanded and requested Ramesh Pokhriyal to postpone the date, while quora people are asking whether it will be postponed or not.
I am not sure who would risk his life for an entrance exam or who not. So no matter what the NTA says in terms of measures they want to take like social distancing, sanitizer, etc. They are least bothered for the risk of the students. Sad state of affairs!!
Stand with us, as we raise our voices for the safety of students. Sign and share this petition asking for NO NEET-UG/JEE-MAINS UNTILL SITUATION GETS UNDER CONTROL.
