Roll back the requirement of 5 years stay in GCC for DASA
The Issue
The current DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) route for admission to Engineering colleges In India require Indian students to complete 11 and 12 exams in the Gulf and also stay for atleast 5 years in the Gulf. This rule was changed by MHRD recently from 2018 and is shattering the dreams of thousands of Indian students who aspire to study in Premier Engineering colleges in India but are unable to apply via DASA because of the 5 year restriction. Request MHRD to remove the 5 year requirement and encourage Indian students residing in Gulf
