The data on crime against men where the perpetrator is a woman,, has not been collected by the National Crime Record Bureau, because they, in reply, admitted that it works under the direction of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and will collect the data if the Ministry directs to them, The question arises why the Ministry, after seeing that a large number of men are affected / or committing suicides due to misuse of women laws, are not collecting the data?. The contents of the mail send by the NCRB, reproduced as follows:
"Sir,
Please refer my previous mail wherein I have clearly informed that we will not open attachments in the e-mail.
In the RTI, CPIO is only responsible for providing the information maintained in their office.
It appears, you are requesting NCRB to collect the information. What information NCRB is suppose to collect is decided by Ministry of Home Home Affairs and hence it is suggested to approach Ministry of Home Affairs, North Block, New Delhi. If the Ministry directs, then NCRB will collect such sort of information.
You m
With Best Regards
Deputy Director (C - III)
