NY went ok, this visit was my first consultation with the surgeon. Tofind out exactly what they have to do, I found out that I also have now veneous disease from the lipedema, but they say that there's a good chance the surgery will stop that from geting any worse with removing all the fluid. So he said I need. Two surgeries, they can't do it at once because the anesthetic they use is toxic and they can only use a certain amount at al time of they will poison the heart. My first surgery will reduce my fluid by 30 percent, and the rest second surgery. They want to do the surgery at the hospital in New Jersey so they can monitor me better, and even better after I spoke with them he told me that I'll only have to stay three days out there, and he will have direct contact with jurvininski and my further post op therapy will be here! :) so that's so much better, costs are much cheaper to stay for a week in new jersey then NY, and I only have to stay 3 days post op! :) so the surgery cost is $10,000 each, plus my travel. What I'm working on now is to convince the Minister of Health that I need this done, with supporting documentation and pray to God that they accept my out of country surgery application, then I only have to cover my travel, food costs while I'm out there and that will make this whole journey feel more achievable. So I started thhat petition as well, to request further funding etc goes into this disease, and every signature I get is emailed directly to the minister of health, Steven harper, and the director of health, and kathleen Wynn. So I'm also praying that that petition takes off so I can take that to parliament as well, it will give me a lot better chance of winning if I have lots of support from so many woman. :) so I keep researching, keeping video diaries, video recording dr appts, keeping all my letters from members of parliament, and pictures from all the fundraisers, the tv and paper interviews, etc, and I plan on hitting them hard, and to keep working on making the fight as public as I can so that they continue to be pestered by it and hopefully they will get sick of me! Lol :p I just keep praying that it all works out the way not only I need it to but for all the amazing woman I have met along the way who are suffering just as I am.
