We are a group of parents who have children of ages 12 - 17 with serious allergies or immuno compromised conditions, and we worry about the side effects of the mRNA vaccines on our children.

With the gradual opening up of Singapore and increasing infections, we also worry about our youths catching a serious Covid infection, as they travel to school or meet up with friends.

We consider that they need to be vaccinated urgently as they are in the independent and mobile age group, unlike younger children.

We fully support Singapore's strategy to work towards Covid being an endemic, however we need the help from Multi-Ministry Task Force to approve the use non-mRNA for the youths.

Sidenote: Notable countries already using non-mRNA for 12-17 years old - Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Hungary, UAE, Chile
