Who gets us our essentials and food delivered to the doorstep when we are quarantining and scared to step out? It is our delivery persons who have worked day and night, risking their lives, to ensure we get food, medicines, and other essentials on time. Whether they are food, Amazon, and Flipkart delivery partners or our Uber and Ola drivers.

While the second wave of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has crossed the previous highest surge and the upward trend of the number of cases is a cause of concern, these front-line heros are working day-night to ease our work. They are the most vulnerable section as they have to go from door to door.

The vaccines are allowed for everyone above 45 years of age, but looking at the high risk the delivery persons face, they should be allowed to get vaccinated, irrespective of their age, as soon as possible.

Please sign my petition asking the following-
- The government allows food delivery persons and auto/cab drivers to get vaccinated on a priority
- The companies promise vaccine cover for their delivery/driver-partners asap
