I, Anil Kumar Sharma and my wife Annapurna Sharma bearing Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. Policy Number P/161130/01/2021/000155, had been admitted to BP Poddar Hospital in Kolkata West Bengal.
I was diagnosed Corona Positive on 9th July 2020. Meanwhile my wife who was not tested was suffering badly from Breathing disorder, Coughing, vomiting and severe weakness. I was suffering from Fever, dry coughing and weakness, bad taste etc, considering my wife's bad health i immediately got her admitted in B P Poddar Hospital on 9th July Night and next day got myself admitted the next day on 10th July 2020 after speaking to the Doctor.

On 18th July I was informed that my claim for Cashless Hospitalization has been rejected and my Wife's denied as well in spite of the fact that for 3 days she was in ITU and on oxygen. I was on intravenous injections for around 5 days and both of us were subjected to innumerous tests.
The total bill came to 4,60,190/- (196541 Anil Kumar Sharma and 263649 Annapurna Sharma, which myself being in the hospital had to arrange after taking loans from relatives and friends and office.
It was not only humiliating but emotionally, physically and mentally draining.

I am in loan of 5 Lacs with no other option of paying back to people from whom I have taken a loan in the tough times of pandemic after requesting my relatives and friends to pay the hospital bills. 

I am completely clueless as to how to repay my friends and relatives and my future looks very uncertain
