The exams of final semester exams of premier technical institutes have been cancelled and the students have been awarded grades on the basis of their previous grades(normalisation).

BPUT is to conduct the final exam online through a platform which has numerous glitches. Also in this pandemic where students are stuck in thier villages where net connectivity and electric supply is very very poor. Even the state's capital is facing powercuts every now and then.

Also the exams of final semester students of other streams from other institutes have been cancelled and they have been awarded grades based on their previous grades.

The BPUT helpline even isn't providing support properly. They even aren't replying properly to students who are facing problem.

Bput has clearly stated in its notice regarding the rules of exam in which it has stated the requirements which are-

laptop or desktop having i3 processor, webcam, microphone, internet connection of more than 1mbps, power supply for the duration of 2 .5 hours and so on.

These requirements cannot be fulfilled by every student as we know now because of the global pandemic, studebts are stuck at remote areas where finding these facilities is impossible on thier part.

Today some students attempted mock test of the exs to be held. The feedback from the students were that that the glitches in the online platform were too disturbing and will be a hindrance during the actual exams and thus cannot be trusted upon.

We want the BPUT to cancel the exam and provide/award marks for the final semester exams considering the grades of the previous semester(normalisation). Please sign the petition so that our careers don't get spoiled.
