Since the beginning of the pandemic, teachers have been taking classes via digitial means. As India is now witnessing the second wave of COVID, schools have been shut again for students. However, teachers are still being called to school to take online classes from the school premises. This is jeopardizing the lives of teachers and their families, who are at equal risk of contracting the virus. If the students are at home, there is no need for the teachers to go to the schools. They can take the classes from home, just like they've done throughout 2020. 

The government needs to order schools to shut completely, for students and teachers alike.
