OLA Cabs- A ride full of discomforts

The Issue

This is to bring up some major concerns while taking Ola !

1.Cab drivers deny Ola Money mostly in case of rentals. My recent three experience, I was asked to deboard the cab as the payment mode was through Ola money. The can took about 15 minutes to reach though the waiting time shown before booking was 4 minutes.

2.Customer care denied changing mode of payment from Ola Money to Cash and asked to book another cab which was like missing the meeting as the cab would not take less than 15 minutes to reach.

3.Also the customer care denied refunding the Ola money amount which I had recharged for use. They said they just cannot. I was denied my money back to my account.

4. If you have travelled from Terminal 1at Delhi airport, I am certain you would have had this experience. Ola cab drivers also deny pickup from pickup.point at TO Delhi airport. The toll amount of 150 rupees is charged from customer but to avoid the toll. Drivers ask customers to walk 200-300 mts to the main road where they just skip the toll. So they money which we think goes to government actually goes to drivers pocket.I had informed ola team about this. But no action has been taken in 2 months. Also this helps create a chaos on the road and leads to traffic jam.

5. Ola share cab drivers or in general deny duty (pickup/drop) to cantonment areas just because they don’t like to go through the entry procedures to the cantonment.

I hope this campaign serves a better purpose and a change is brought about.
