The law in Gran Canaria must me changed (and the world should follow) on how an animal is slaughtered at home. While as far as i am aware it is not ilegal to kill an animal for food on your own land, The way it is slaughtered is barbaric and needs change. Currently you can slit a pigs throat and watch it die in agony. We need change. The animal needs change. Lets bring Gran Canaria into the 21st century and make us the fore front of change through out the world. The law should be change to consist of the following.

If you are going to slaughter an animal on your own land you MUST have a vet present,, who must stun the animal first to prevent it from suffering any more then it needs to. And if this means having to pay for a vet and giving the vet a week notice so be it.
