We wanted to wait before declaring victory on this petition, as these things have a habit of being quietly green-lit once the hype dies down. Thanksfully, it seems that for now at least the concept of a state-sanctioned / commercial fishery executed shark cull, is off the cards in Western Australia, and is not rearing it's head again. 

THANK YOU to everyone who signed, or took other actions to stop this, but, there's more to do...

There's still an 86 year long shark cull running in New South Wales, and a 62 year long shark cull running in Queensland. Head to change.org/nosharkcull if you haven't already to help stop those!
