Thankfully, it looks like the concept of the crowd-sourced shark cull that was proposed in 2021 by RecFishWest in Western Australia is now dead and buried.

While the Gascoyne, Pilbara, and Kimberley regions are safe from a shark cull for now, we REALLY need your help over on the East Coast of Australia.

Sharks are still being culled for "beach safety" in the states of Queensland (QLD) and New South Wales (NSW). These culls have been running since 1962 and 1937 respectively, and you can help stop it. 

Newly proposed culls always attract a lot of uproar, but let's not forget the two shark culls that have been running under the radar for 86 years and counting in Australia...
