There's still an 86 year long shark cull running in New South Wales, and a 62 year long shark cull running in Queensland. Head to change.org/nosharkcull if you haven't already to help stop those!

We wanted to wait a while before declaring victory on this petition, as these things have a habit of being quietly green-lit once the hype dies down. Thankfully, it seems that for now at least the concept of a state-sanctioned / commercial fishery executed shark cull, is off the cards in Western Australia, and is not rearing it's head again.
