Manor Park Cemetery Update: Positives 1. It appears we are now permitted to define the pre-mounded grave with kerbstones when we erect the headstone 2. The Cemetery has agreed to level the path to the grave, which is uneven and hazardous to allow visitors safe access Not so positives 1. Mounding will still take place in 5, 10 years or more, which makes securing a lasting memorial to Sarah very difficult 2. The Cemetery state they comply with Ministry of Justice guidelines on Mounding but the MoJ has told us they do not publish any guidelines 3. The Cemetery has twice declined to tell us what the depth of new soil is, once settled, and how deep they dig.
