Majority of Australians support Marriage Equality

Dear lovely supporters. Thank you again for signing the petition. You'll already know that the French have legalized SSM several years ago and be wondering why Australia is so slow to do it. But the evidence of our recent plebiscite seems to show that it is not the majority of people who are slowing progress towards equality. As Alex Greenwich (NSW MP and advocate of SSM rights) said "we must continue to campaign for marriage equality despite the challenges." I think most reasonable people believe that nothing should stop people being able to marry the person they love in the country that they love. If Australia's SSM plebiscite is anything to go by, most informed French people would probably agree CIAO people should have equality rights to marry and have children.
