Recommendation of K N Wanchoo committee for quality and safety in IR are over looked. for the revision of payscale and making SSE part of junior management, for better performance, quality and safety.

In all other departments except indian railways graduate engineers are appointed in group b but in indian railways graduate engineers are appointed in group c as Direct Senior Section Engineer.

Not only the appointment in group c, they are awarded no promotion throughout service to retirement.

Positioned in group c they are harassed by officers leading to demotivating ambience, all of the execution is in there hands but no authority, mere puppet of indian railways officers.

Nill promotion added the agony, they will retire on the same post facing same harassments through out service in indian railways.

Safety and swift working of indian railways is sole responsibility of sse with help of je and helping staff. Sse follow orders of officers from group b and a.

Group b and a have regular promotion and have authority in administration.

A helper can get promotions and become SSE but SSE will retire as SSE only.

We feel like cursed gutted in dark alleys of indian railways.
