Support Sheikh Waseem and his family to stay in Australia

Support Sheikh Waseem and his family to stay in Australia
The issue
We are seeking support for Sheikh Waseem and his family to stay in Australia. Shk Waseem is an integral part of the Al Siraat College community, dedicating much of his time and energy to the school, as well as the Muslim community in Victoria, for over 7 years. His visa has expired, and his application for residency was declined.
Shk Waseem is a highly respected and valued leader at Al Siraat College, being the College Imam and Minister of Religion. He works tirelessly for others, and losing him will leave a very big hole in our community, and very few people have the skills to fill his shoes.
In addition, 2 years ago Shk Waseem and his wife lost their 17-year-old son in a tragic accident and he is buried in Melbourne. They visit his grave every week. To leave their son behind will be devastating to their whole family, and their mental wellbeing will deteriorate.
Returning this family to Pakistan will have a profound effect on the whole family - they have no family, friends or support in Pakistan, and the children will suffer immensely.
Please support our much beloved Shk Waseem in his application to remain in Australia, for him to continue the invaluable work he does in our community for many years to come.
Thank you.
