Alt-right extremists Canadian speakers Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux landed in NZ on Thursday much to our digust that these two facists were even permitted a 10 day visa to enter our country that does not tolerate facism nor racism. Some groups called for their visas to be declined because their anti-immigration, anti-Islam views amounted to hate speech. However, Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway has said he personally felt their views were repugnant but that there was no grounds to reject their visas.

Last month, Auckland Mayor Phil Goff blocked them from using council venues, saying he did not want such spaces used to stir up ethnic tensions. "I just think we've got no obligation at all - in a city that's multicultural, inclusive, embraces people of all faiths and ethnicities - to provide a venue for hate speech by people that want to abuse and insult others, either their faith or their ethnicity," he told Newshub. Right on Phil! Our communities will vote you again!

That decision, and a subsequent tweet by Auckland Mayor Phil Goff, prompted the Free Speech Coalition, which included Don Brash and Chris Trotter, to launch legal proceedings against Auckland Council. Are you for real right-wing racists?

On Friday, hundreds of us turned out to Aotea Square to rally against racism and facism in a hugely successful peaceful protest ending in a party celebration upon hearing the Powerstation owners cancelled their venue only hours before they were due to speak. Axiomatic events organiser fired out emails to all those who purchased tickets saying their money would be refunded within 14 days. Frankly, 14 days is not good enough and some of us demand our money back immediately!

Shane Te Pou, a former candidate, campaign manager and executive member of the Labour Party, was signing-in at MediaWorks' reception when he came face-to-face with the controversial duo as they left the building after their interview with Newshub's Patrick Gower. "I said to them, 'Catch the next flight to Canada and don't let the door hit you on the backside on your way out' said Te Pou.

Ahead of their arrival, Māori political commentator and writer Morgan Godfery highlighted the carving at the airport, saying it would tell the Canadian extremists that they were not welcome in this country.

Even our Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says "I think we're hostile to their views. I think you'll see from the reaction that they have had from New Zealanders that their views are not those that are shared by this country and I'm quite proud of that."

Southern and Molyneux are not welcome in Auckland and not welcome in Aotearoa and should leave our shores immediately!

In our bright colourful Kiwi language.... PISS OFF!
