The Minister of Finance Must Establish the Permanent Petroleum Pricing Committee and make it operational NOW!

Since 2004, no Government has convened the Permanent Petroleum Pricing Committee, and this has cost us US$17.5 (TT$120) billion dollars in the past 8 years.
We can still recover this money...
But the Government does not seem to consider this important at all.

They have made statements in the past, claiming to have re-established the Committee, but it has never been followed through.

We, the citizens of the Republic and employers of the Government, demand that committee members are named, their terms of reference are made public as well as their source of funding. Provision for their work and resources (information to be purchased) must be made in the budget, so we are ensured that they are properly constituted, mandated and resourced.

We need to let our Government know that we want this money.
Not higher prices, more taxes on the citizenry, and continued debt.
