Linda Abu khorma started this petition to Cambridge International and

This is a petition created in hopes of cancelling all cambridge international examinations for all IG schools in Jordan, since online education wasn't beneficial enough for students to properly understand content given since the beginning of year 13, let alone have the immense pressure of sitting for the May/June 2021 exam series.

In addition to the disadvantage in education, students' mental health also needs to be considered as not only has this year been stressful and full of self-teaching hours, endless assignments and lack of social interactions with friends and family, but COVID-19 has also taken a toll on our mental, and to some extent, physical health. Therefore going through with sitting for May/June 2021 externals will add to the immense stress and negative effects on students' mental health and well-being as students will be hoping to get the grades they need in order to get accepted into their dream universities, which will be difficult given the circumstances.

We understand that COVID-19 cases vary from country to country, but we must address other issues regarding the fairness as Jordan is one of the few countries expected to go ahead with the examinations, in addition to student's mental health, education inequality, and the risk of being exposed to the virus.

Please sign this petition, it will go a long way for us students. Thank You.
