We haven't given up hope.

We continue to email key officials and Cabinet Ministers relating to this issue and with your support we hope that we can make a difference and to get those in power to see sense. It would appear that DOC has been so focused on the demolition of the Visitor Centre that they may have failed to follow Government Tendering requirements. The demolition contract was not advertised as required. We are now following this up in an attempt to have the contract terminated and the process tendered correctly. This will at least gain so valuable time for the parties interested in preserving the Visitor Centre. In the meantime please email, phone and write to the media and your Member of Parliament requesting that this building be retained for future generations.
