Face masks, made mandatory due to covid-19, has a negative impact on our children. Children are struggling to communicate and younger children are no longer able to recognise basic emotions, including sadness and happiness.

The amount of times children touch their masks, then touches their eyes, mouths and nose as they move the masks, as well as the number of times used masks are worn continuously, makes masks rather ineffective. In the reports that reached us, not one parent cited that their children wore a new or washed mask to school every single day.

The damage being done by mask wearing versus the risk posed to children by covid-19 and the dirty recycled masks worn by children, surely means damage done is bigger than the risk and that we need to end the mandated wearing of face masks for children with immediate effect.
