In the most recent case of animal neglect:

Two puppies starved to death for 3 weeks found dead. Owner convicted of 2 counts of aggravated cruelty and hit with a fine of $144, 80 hours of community service and is prohibited from owning any animal for 5 years. 

Cruelty such as the above happen daily, rarely ever coming to our attention. What if we could make even a slight change and with the little power that we have, actually get some sort of justice for these helpless animals? 

Let’s turn the tables and think of the victims as babies, people with disabilities.. people who are physically incapable of defending themselves. We are the only voice they have.
