We ask after the well-being of the animals, to be updated - through genuine concern - and yet we are accused that this is some sort of "hate campaign" or "vendetta". It could not be further from the truth. This is, and always has been, about the animals welfare. That they ALL receive the 5 freedoms and individual care and attention that they need and deserve. We have ex-volunteers who fully supported AHAR, did their utmost for the animals before it became apparent that the problem is the AHAR founder and current manager. A board who seem incapable of reigning in the manager's excesses. The lack of transparency, the flamboyant begging posts with claimed histories of the animals, the buying from back yard breeders, the failure to report abuse, the cleansing of comments and questions all are major red flags. Remember, mistruths have been told by the manager and their lies shown in the media. Is it any wonder that we are concerned?
