There seems to be some confusion about the status of this development application. Some people are saying it was approved weeks ago.

I can 100% confirm that this DA has not been approved. Anyone that needs confirmation of that can call council on 07 5475 7272 and ask for an update on MCU18/0111. Alternatively, you can look on development.i where the council provides all of the information on DAs. Enter MCU18/0111 under Application Search and you will see all the documentation and status.

Status: The developer must provide their updated (for the 3rd time) traffic impact assessment report by tomorrow (05/02). The last two have been inaccurate and rejected by the council and SARA (State Assessment and Referral Agency).

Once SARA receives the updated report, they will assess it and advise council of their decision. I believe they will take up to 3 weeks to complete their assessment. So council will be advised some time in the next few weeks of SARA's decision and then continue their assessment process before making a final decision.
