Michael Collins and other concerned citizens, stating that the licence was correctly applied for (the only advertisement in 2009 showed no mention of 'mechanical harvest' or of the 'size and scale' of this harvest of 1860 acres of native kelp). We continue to work on this issue too and have contacted An Taisce and other relevant organisations/people who may be able to help stop this unacceptable damage to pristine marine life in Bantry Bay.
