Yesterday our local Independent T.D. Michael Collins submitted this petition along with a personal letter of concern regarding the proposed mechanical harvest of native kelp in Bantry Bay. Also included were other letters of concern from the area. I do hope that the people of Bantry Bay, West Cork will hear back with a favourable decision from Minister Coveney soon.
