Mina Road, St Werburghs to go traffic free in 2022

Mina Road, St Werburghs to go traffic free in 2022
The Issue
Residents living on Mina Road have been suffering the negative effects of heavy cut through traffic from the M32 for years. These effects include noise, pollution, speeding, dangerous for cycling and difficulty crossing the road. Now its time to take action and demand Bristol City Council close this access point. Traffic free areas are good for encouraging active travel, walking to school, local trading and enjoyment of our park.
Changes can be simple and cheap using Experimental Traffic Orders which give us the chance to triall this measure for 18 months, monitor how traffic responds and how the change impacts residents. We expect drivers to sit a few minutes longer in the comfort of their cars and use the appropriate exit for their onward journeys to Ashley Hill or St Pauls.
I call on the people of Bristol to support this simple petition.
