MKE police chief Morales is totally and entirely unaware, and unwilling to address the long history of abuses here by MPD. I can think of umpteen cases that mortified, horrified and deeply angered me here in just the past few years.
Dontre Hamilton. Joel Acevedo. Officer Vagnani who was raping and sexually assaulting black men and whom was protected by the "boys club."
I could go on and on and fill pages.

He made comments saying something to the effect that the killing of George Floyd was unrelated to our situation here in MKE. He did not address even the most recent and blatant absuses of power and police brutality. He doesn't understand that people are angry about what has been happening here for decades, and that George Floyd's murder hit close to home for so many because it is the same reality people of color live with every day here in MKE. 

He has been authorizing tear gas (which is so cruel, its banned dy the Geneva Conventions. Its a WAR CRIME when done by our military!! Yet has not HESITATED to use it on us!), rubber bullets not only  being used, but used incorrectly by shooting directly at protestors, and has worked to silence the voice of the people. He has lied about protestors using molotov cocktails to justify their unessesary, internationally banned war tactics on our own people. He has instigated the violence, not worked to calm and soothe it.

This is not acceptable. He must step down, effective immediately. We, the People have no faith or trust in his ability to police and protect our community ant longer. 

I think we should begin demanding his resignation.
