I am doing this as way of remembering those who worked in the works and saving the heritage of wolverton works and town and a way of keeping the historical buildings. The works should have it's own heritage centre that will give an insight into the live of the works and the workers also be a place to research. Should be based within buildings that are in need of being  saved . The plans for the site by St Modwen is to strip and demolish the buildings on site but if they are saved and used for a heritage centre the conservation of the town will be saved aswell as its heritage.  St Modwen don't understand the history of the site as a result of this the sites history has not been taken into account with any of the planning designs.. The Wolverton Bloomer engines by McConnell where built on site. But St Modwen have not looked into this or looked at using the Bloomer engine we have as part of the plans.  St Modwen plan is also designed to strip Wolverton of the historic buildings we have all grown to love.
