As a resident of Mille Lacs County, Minnesota, I’m asking you to introduce, support, and pass a resolution declaring that Mille Lacs County is a “Second Amendment Dedicated County” as a sign of support from our county government, and you personally, for the Second Amendment’s Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

During the current legislative session, many in St Paul have made unconstitutional gun control efforts such as “Universal Gun Registration” and “Red Flag Gun Confiscation” orders the centerpiece of their legislative agenda. These bills not only infringe upon the Right to Keep and Bear Arms of the citizens of Mille Lacs County, but they run counter to our culture, our heritage and our dedication to the Republic.

Passing a resolution that Mille Lacs County is a “Second Amendment Dedicated County” will send a strong message to the state legislature and the anti-gun metro-centric political leadership pushing these bills that our county will stand strong to support, protect, and defend the Second Amendment Rights of our citizens.
